“Patsy's Back in Town”
Featuring Seldom Scene Players
Saturday, April 17, 2010 · 6 PM


The Seldom Scene Players performed the Opera House's Grand Opening performance in August 2000. We are proud to have them open our 10th anniversary season with a play written by Sam McClintock about a small town that is planning a homecoming and is trying to persuade Patsy, a local starlit, to return for the celebration.


“Celebrate America”
Featuring Dan & Galla

Dan & Galla's performance features the duo's musical talent, as well as audience involvement. "Celebrate America" culminates in a powerful and moving tribute to our military, our country and our flag, instilling a feeling of American pride.


“From Stage to Screen”
Featuring The Laurel Highlands Chorale and Directed by David Garwood

The Laurel Highlands Chorale will be performing music from Broadway and Hollywood including hits from "Oklahoma", "Me & My Girl", "Mamma Mia", and "The Phantom of the Opera". We're proud to welcome regional residents who share a love for music to our Opera House Stage. The Chorale is also an affiliate of Laurel Arts of Somerset.

"All Aboard!" Show featuring Children's Performer Morgan Hunt ($10/person)
The whole family is invited to sing and chug along with "The Mother of Invention" (Storyteller Morgan Hunt) as she presents this fun fantastic tale about the first American steam-powered train. Songs, humor & audience involvement bring life to this tale celebrating the amazing things folks can create with a little imagination.

4 - 6 PM
"Casey Jones and the Great American Railroad" Show featuring Ray Owen ($10/person)
Hop on the Wabash Cannonball with Old Casey Jones for a performance of boxcar ballads, freight train blues and rousing songs, stories and hobo humor. This show is sure to be a roundhouse of fun for everyone!

Both shows include a "Hobo Meal" (hot dog, mac & cheese, baked beans, chips, cookie, punch & coffee)

Gregg recently perfomed in Pittsburgh CLO productions of Les Miserables (The Bishop of Digne/Grantaire) and Into the Woods (Rapunzel's Prince). Prior to that, Gregg was in the cast of the Broadway Musical, A Tale of Two Cities, at the Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.
